The Local Live Storytelling Series

In the spirit of storytelling series from Baltimore to Anchorage and from This American Life to the Moth: True tales told live. These are stories that aren't read. They aren't fiction, They're funny, serious and real.

We put on four to six editions of Sitka Tells Tales a year. Some of our events are produced with other groups, festivals and gatherings. We welcome collaborators! Tellers and the host (s) meet together before each event. We test ideas, talk about shaping stories and what it means to share them with an audience.

Sitka Tells Tales airs/streams on KCAW Raven Radio (KCAW.ORG) the third Tuesdays of the month at 7 PM AKST. A new live show one month, followed by a show of stories from the vault the next month.
